TEAM
Prior to co-founding Denny Hill Capital, Russ spent over seven years working with cellular pioneer
Craig McCaw in various roles in Seattle and London, including serving as President and Vice
Chairman of Teledesic LLC, CEO of New ICO Global Communications Ltd., and CEO and Vice Chairman
of ICO-Teledesic Global Ltd.
Jan is Managing Principal and a co-founder of Denny Hill Capital. She currently sits on the boards of
CleverSet, Inc., a software company providing hosted product recommendations to online retailers,
and butter LONDON, LLC, a branded nail health and beauty company. She also manages Capital
Partners II, LLC, Denny Hill's predecessor fund, which was fully invested as of December 31, 2005
and continues to outperform same vintage year funds.
Prior to co-founding Denny Hill Capital, Craig co-founded Capital Partners II with Stuart Williams
in 2000, a venture fund targeted at angel investors to compete more effectively in the financing
of Pacific Northwest technology based companies. Craig founded Kinzer Capital in 1998, a venture
capital and investment advisory firm. In 2001 Craig co-founded Screenlife, the developer of
SceneIt?, the DVD game marketed nationally by Mattel. As Chair of the Board, Craig grew the
company to $45 million in revenues. Craig is also Founder and Principal in charge of Kinzer
Real Estate Services.
Before co-founding Denny Hill Capital, Stuart co-founded Capital Partners II with Craig Kinzer in
2000. CPII, one of two Denny Hill predecessor funds, was fully invested as of December 31, 2005
and continues to outperform other same vintage year funds. CPII followed several years of
investing in Pacific Northwest start-ups such as aQuantive. Stuart is also Founder and
Principal of Pacific Real Estate Partners, Inc., a commercial real estate firm focused on the
Northwest. |
