STUART WILLIAMS, Founder, Denny Hill Capital. Before co-founding Denny Hill Capital, Stuart co-founded Capital Partners II, LLC (CPII) with Craig Kinzer in 2000, an angel fund dedicated to financing Pacific Northwest early stage companies. Capital Partners II, LLC, one of two Denny Hill predecessor funds, was fully invested as of December 31, 2005 and continues to outperform other same vintage year funds. CPII followed several years of investing in Pacific Northwest start-ups such as aQuantive (AQNT).
Stuart is also Founder and Principal of Pacific Real Estate Partners, Inc., a commercial real estate brokerage firm headquartered in Bellevue with offices in Seattle and Portland. PREP has leased over 4 million square feet and sold investments in excess of $2 billion. Mr. Williams’ clients include Portage Bay Partners, Morgan Stanley, Lowe, Rockwood Capital/Intracorp, Bedford Property Investors, Nitze-Stagen, University of Washington, King County Library System and Schnitzer Northwest. Prior to the establishment of this firm in 1993, Stuart was a principal with The Norman Company.
Stuart obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in political science and economics from Claremont McKenna College and received his Masters degree in Business Administration from Harvard University. He was recognized as SIOR Broker of the Year in 2001 and 2003 and is Past President and board member of the Commercial Broker Association and the Pacific Real Estate Institute.
Stuart is a board member of the Woodland Park Zoological Society and the local chapter of the Urban Land Institute. He was previously also a board member of the Alki Foundation. He is Past President of the Jewish Community center as well as the local chapter of the Claremont McKenna College Alumni Association. Stuart and his wife, Lucy, have three children.
