Jan Hendrickson General Partner

Jan serves as Managing Principal in addition to co-founding Denny Hill Capital. She currently sits on the boards of CleverSet, Inc., a software company providing hosted product recommendations to online retailers, and butter LONDON, LLC, a branded nail health and beauty company. She also manages Capital Partners II, LLC, Denny Hill's predecessor fund, which was fully invested as of December 31, 2005 and continues to outperform same vintage year funds.

Jan previously served as Vice President with Alexander Hutton, Seattle's largest and most established investment banking firm, where she represented companies in technology, manufacturing, services, healthcare, and consumer retail markets. Prior to joining Alexander Hutton, she provided business and financial planning services to high growth companies ranging from technology start-ups to The Boeing Company and New Balance Athletic Shoes. During her career in operations, Jan led or participated in financings in excess of $500 million. In her most recent operations role, she was the first Chief Financial Officer of a $5 billion start-up responsible for financing, constructing and operating a regional mass transit system. Previously, she was the Chief Financial Officer for the Port of Seattle's Seaport where she oversaw a capital investment program of $600 million.

A native Seattleite, Jan holds graduate and undergraduate degrees from the University of the Washington. She is currently Chair of the Woodland Park Zoo Board of Directors, immediate Past President of the Frye Art Museum, and Founding Director of the Seattle-based Women's Bioethics Project. She is also a previous chair of Family Services of King County. Jan is an avid runner and skier.
